Case for Support
At RMU, we provide a professional, hands-on education for our students. And it’s this type of practical approach that enables our grads to hit the ground running and find early success in their careers. In order to offer such a high-quality education, it is vital that we have the proper resources and facilities to best prepare our students for what they’ll encounter in the real world.

This is where you come in. Your support enables us to do what we do best—change lives. When you give to RMU, it shows your confidence in the good work we’re doing, and it has a direct, positive impact on our communities and the region at large. Here are just a few recent projects – both completed and in the works – that will greatly enhance the academic experience of our students:

  • Over by Massey Hall, the new School of Business building officially opened in September. This state-of-the-art facility serves to further enhance RMU’s internationally renowned business programs.
  • Across campus, the new Peter Salem Hall provides even more living-and-learning space for our students.
  • Phase 1 of the new media arts building is now underway. This three-story building will feature classrooms, computer labs, “smart” lecture rooms, studios, conference space, and faculty offices. It will also allow for expansion in the coming years to accommodate a new Academic Media Center, theater, and photography space, as well as gathering space and food service capabilities.
  • A new nursing simulation center is currently in the planning stages and will replace the existing regional Research and Innovation in Simulation Education (RISE) Center in John Jay Center. In addition to enhancing the university’s nursing simulation capabilities, this new facility will also serve as a valuable resource for regional health care partners.
These are just a few of the exciting things that are happening at RMU. Thank you for your continued support of our mission. We couldn’t do it without you.
