Captain Theresa M. Bodnar

CPT Theresa M. Bodnar was born in Ashtabula, OH and is the daughter of Paul and Antoinette Bodnar. In 2001, CPT Bodnar graduated magna-cum-laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from John Carroll University (JCU), University Heights, Ohio.

CPT Bodnar was commissioned through JCU's ROTC program as a Second Lieutenant Quartermaster officer and entered active duty on 15 January 2001. Her first assignment was as a Goldbar Recruiter at JCU for six months. Following her officer basic course, she was stationed with the 7th Corps Support Group (CSG) in Bamberg, Germany, where she served as both a Supply Support Activity Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer with the 147th Maintenance Company (Kitzingen, GE), and the Assistant Group Adjutant with the 7th CSG (Bamberg).

In June 2005, she was assigned as an Army Reserve Troop Program Unit (TPU) Soldier with the 2d Battalion (TS) (CS/CSS), 312th Regiment in Oakdale, PA. She was mobilized one month later to Fort Dix, NJ for 24 months where she performed duties as a Leader's Training Instructor, Observer Controller Trainer, Assistant Battalion S3, and later Company Commander of Headquarters Company, 2d Battalion, 312th Regiment.

CPT Bodnar entered the Active Guard Reserve (AGR) program in July 2007, where she is now serving as Assistant Professor of Military Science at Robert Morris University.

CPT Bodnar has attended the Quartermaster Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the Company/Detachment Pre-Command Course, and the Combined Arms Exercise Course.

Her decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal with 1 OLC, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Meritorious Unit Award.

Sergeant First Class Richard Cornish

SFC Richard Cornish II was born in Pittsburgh, PA and is the son of Richard and Bonnie Cornish. In 1990 SFC Cornish graduated from Carlynton High School. SFC Cornish joined the United States Marine Corps in 1996 and graduated from Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) in 1997. SFC Cornish then went to Infantry school training and was assigned to 1st Battalion 7th Marines in 29 Palms, California, where he did three deployments and visited 13 countries. In 2000, SFC Cornish attended Marine Corps recruiting school in San Diego, California and after completion was stationed in Manahawkin, New Jersey and was promoted to Staff Sergeant.

In January 2004, SFC Cornish was assigned as a Platoon Sergeant in 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines on Camp Jejune, North Carolina and deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom.

In March of 2005 SFC Cornish left the United States Marine Corps and returned to Pittsburgh and joined the United States Army National Guard of Pennsylvania. SFC Cornish enlisted as an infantryman and was assigned to the Recruiting and Retention Battalion where he is now serving as an ROTC Instructor at Robert Morris University.

Sergeant Brian Entwisle

SGT Brian J. Entwisle is a native of New Orleans, LA. In 2001, he was awarded an Associate of the Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Delgado Community College. In 2004, SGT Entwisle was awarded a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Loyola University of New Orleans.

SGT Entwisle entered active duty on 28 June 2004. He completed Basic Combat Training (BCT) in September 2004 at Fort Sill, OK and continued on to Fort Sam Houston, TX for advanced individual training (AIT) as a combat medic. SGT Entwisle’s first duty assignment was Fort Hood, TX where he served as squad leader for the medic platoon of HHC, 3-8 CAV. In October 2006, SGT Entwisle was deployed to Iraq for sixteen months in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 06/07, where he was awarded multiple decorations for service. SGT Entwisle completed his four year active duty service obligation in June 2008. At that time, he entered the Texas Command Medical Group of the Texas National Guard, and served in the role of squad leader and fitness NCO. After 18 months, SGT Entwisle transferred to the 128th FSB of the Pennsylvania National Guard.

SGT Entwisle is currently on Active Duty Other-Schools (ADOS) orders where he now serves as Assistant Instructor of Military Science at Robert Morris University.
