Power Skating Team Lessons 

Incorporated in each session are key elements required to accomplish exceptional skating techniques:

  • Edge control & quick transitions
  • Acceleration & foot speed
  • Leg strength & flexibility
  • Lateral movement & agility
  • Power crunch & knee drive
  • Technical efficiency & cardiovascular conditioning

All basic fundamental skills will be emphasized and intensified according to each teams or players level. These fundamentals include:

  • Balance / body position
  • Forward & backward strides
  • Forward & backward quick stops
  • Explosive starts
  • Forward & backward turns, including crossover, pivot, & quick power turns

  • Emphasize the importance of & develop the skills that are essential to play at the highest level
  • Give players & coaches a variety of practice routine, while reinforcing the value of superior skating abilities
  • Provide innovative & challenging drills and exercises and demonstrate how they apply to game situations
