Advanced Skating Skills: Basic Skills 5 & 6
Skaters must have formal lesson experience and have passed the Basic Skills 1, 2, 3 & 4 skills tests or their equivalent or approval from the Skating Director, in order to participate in the Advanced Skating Skills class. Advanced Skills skaters will be instructed on the skills of Learn to Skate USA: Basic 5 & 6

Advanced Skating Skills includes a weekly 40-minute instructional class: 10 minutes of Warm-up workshop and 30-minute skill focused instruction, skate rental, if necessary.  *Advanced Skating Skills figure skaters may skate the figure skating "freestyle session" prior to the start of class.  Advanced Skating Skills hockey skaters will not be permitted to skate on figure skating session. Students must attend the same class day and time throughout the program series.  It is recommended that all Advanced Skating Basic Skills skaters purchase their own skates.

Wednesday Class
5:00 - 5:50 PM - Practice Session* (No Hockey Skaters)
5:50 - 6:30 PM -  Instructional Class


Saturday Class - NEW CLASS TIME
11:15 - 12:05 PM - Practice Session* (No Hockey Skaters)
12:20 - 1:00 PM -  Instructional Class

*Advanced Skating Basic 5 & 6 Figure Skaters Freestyle Practice Session
Basic 5 & 6 Hockey Skaters may request a pass for the public skating session following class on Wednesday 7:00 - 8:30 PM or Saturday: 1:30 - 3:30 PM
