The Figure Skating Academy (FSA) was established to promote the development and enjoyment of the sport of figure skating for skaters of all levels, who are members of U.S. Figure Skating, Learn to Skate USA Figure Skating and who are interested in furthering the development of their figure skating skills for competitive or recreational figure skating. In addition to individualized training, the FSA encourages individual skaters to participate in group activities, such as figure skating group classes, shows and competitions to enhance skills and develop sportsmanship, while enjoying a sense of camaraderie in a fun and energetic skating atmosphere.

The RMU Island Sports Center Figure Skating Academy is dedicated to meet the needs of all skaters, from the first time competitor to the highest levels of figure skating competition.

Membership in the FSA is available for an annual fee. FSA members receive special membership benefits for FSA programs and events.

Membership for Figure Skaters only, not for lesson pass skaters or hockey skaters using hockey pass.

Benefits Include:

• Reduced fee on daily freestyle sessions and monthly ice packages (Sept.-May)
• Discount on Summer Figure Skating Training Program (June-Aug.) for registrations received on or before June 1
• Discount on Academy membership fee for additional family members
• Complementary FSAcademy member freestyle session on Fridays from 5:00-5:50 p.m. starting September 13, 2024 - June 6, 2025 (Subject to cancellation or change due to ISC Events)
• 10% discount on Pro Shop merchandise (does not include sharpening and services)
• RMU ISC FSAcademy jackets available for an additional fee

All individuals &  families will need to create a profile in our  "DASH" system.

Creating this new family profile will be a great opportunity to update family profiles and contact information for each of your family members.  As you create your family profile, please be sure to put the correct contact information, proper email addresses, family members and ages and completely fill out the necessary fields so that you or your family members may register for the appropriate programs, receive up to date information for the programs in which you register and/or RMU ISC updates.
